Are you a finance specialist looking for a new opportunity? Would you like to expand your career working in FP&A Operations? Be a part of our Finance Team! Our Finance Team takes ownership of building capital allocation decision-making tools that align with our business strategy. We take responsibility for the financial planning, analysis and reporting of capital expenditures for our Oilfield Equipment at Baker Hughes. Our team plays a key role in the continuous improvement of our internal processes.

As a Lead Finance Specialist, you will provide financial planning and support for Corporate, business or P&L. This position requires thorough understanding, application and mastery of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the business cycle, including the short-term plan, budgeting, and forecasting across all organizational levels.
  • Defining KPIs to evaluate performance across manufacturing, R&D, engineering, supply, and commissioning functions.
  • Analyzing performance and recommending actions to strengthen profitability, improve cash generation, and implement corrective measures when needed.
  • Advising functional managers on projects, processes, and procedures within the relevant domain.
  • Handling communication with colleagues and business stakeholders regarding design and coordination services provided.
  • Contributing to projects or leading smaller initiatives, with goals progressing over extended periods and impact emerging over a longer horizon.
Qualifications
  • Bring a background in finance-focused higher education, or a high school diploma/GED with substantial finance experience.
  • Bring significant experience in FP&A operations.
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Showcase good interpersonal and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Identify problems effectively and develop sound solutions.
  • Apply proven analytical and organizational abilities with SAP system.
