As part of the Flexible Pipe Systems team, you will be joining an established business and team with expertise in pipe design, procurement and manufacturing. This unique combination allows our customers to increase production and asset integrity whilst reducing the overall costs associated with a pipeline system.

This role will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives within our organization to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will have a sound background in quality management, process improvement, and data analysis.
As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer , you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and analysing process improvement opportunities to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
- Developing and implement quality control measures, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality checklists.
- Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address quality issues.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute process improvement projects.
- Utilising statistical analysis and data-driven methodologies to identify trends and patterns and implement solutions to improve quality metrics.
- Monitoring and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to management and stakeholders.
- Leading and facilitate continuous improvement workshops and training sessions.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor\’s degree in a STEM Subject, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Have some experience in quality management and process improvement, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Have some knowledge of quality control methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and CAPA.
- Have proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools, such as Excel & Minitab.
- Have knowledge of relevant quality management standards, such as ISO 9001 and API Q1.
- Be familiar with continuous improvement methodologies, such as TPS, Lean or Six Sigma.
- Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Have great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
