Lead Financial Controller – for our Oilfield Services and Equipment Company (OFSE)
covering all operations for Subsea and Surface Pressure Systems (SSPS)

Join our dynamic team
Be responsible for leading the OFSE SSPS controllership function, managing the necessary operating rhythms with the business and other functional teams to identify and mitigate business and controllership risks. Support issue resolution, engage in ordinary and extraordinary transactions to ensure controllership compliance by providing expertise and accounting guidance. You will be responsible for ensuring accounting compliance, effectiveness of financial and operational controls, with a focus on being a valued business partner to the SSPS finance and operational teams.
You will also be responsible for:
- Leading Controllership activities for the SSPS business to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Driving Project Margin Review (PMR) estimates assessment, proper cost/revenue tracking and project balance sheet recoverability to ensure consistency & compliance with Overtime Accounting standards.
- Being a change agent for the OFSE Controllership team to roll out new policies, processes, including supporting BD activities that may impact the SSPS business
- Being a proactive liaison cross functionally with: OFSE Financial Reporting team, HQ, FP&A, other OFSE segment controllers, Tax, Digital Technology, the Global Finance Org, and other functions as it relates to SSPS financial operations and reporting.
- Serving as a problem solver, collaborator, and critical thinker; possess the ability to quickly understand complex items and efficiently propose solutions.
- Partnering with relevant FP&A leaders (Segment CFO, Regional CFOs and Region Segment Finance, etc.) to ensure efficient and effective month end reporting for the SSPS business. Partnership with Operations and Finance teams will include monitoring business and financial risks and supporting issue mitigation/ resolution.
- Work closely with the OFSE and HQ Controllership and Finance teams to timely meet all HQ reporting requirements.
- Coordinating with other OFSE Segment Controllers to ensure standardized, effective and efficient process for the financial close and related analysis.
- Facilitate monthly and quarterly financial closes.
- Monthly and quarterly product line financial statements and analysis.

- Bachelor\’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- CIMA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualifications
- Significant experience in Finance, including experience in Controllership management and oil & gas industry.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects on broader controllership initiatives
