We're looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to strengthen our Civil & Structural team and take a lead role in delivering high quality infrastructure design across a range of projects. If you're confident in Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD, and you enjoy supporting and developing junior engineers, this role could be your next step.
What You'll Do
- Lead and deliver infrastructure design packages
- Manage small project teams and support multidisciplinary delivery
- Prepare, review and check calculations, drawings and technical models
- Review subcontractor drawings for technical compliance
- Support tenders, fee proposals and project reporting
- Mentor engineers, graduates and apprentices
What You'll Bring
- HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
- Chartered or nearing Chartership (ICE/CIHT/IHE etc.)
- Strong experience in drainage, earthworks, SUDS, pavements and utilities
- Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of S38, S278, S104 and UK adoption standards
- Solid understanding of British Standards and current design guidance
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
- Security clearance eligibility
- Bonus: Experience with Microdrainage/Infodrainage, Revit or Bentley MicroStation
