Ready to take control of complex programmes that shape critical infrastructure? BakerHicks is looking for a talented Senior Planner to join our growing team in Manchester. With a strong pipeline of work in defence and power, this is your chance to work on projects that truly make an impact.
What you’ll do:
- Build and manage detailed Level 4 programmes from tender stage through delivery.
- Own project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring cost and resource‑loaded plans.
- Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams, project managers, and clients to keep programmes on track.
- Monitor progress, manage change, and issue Clause 32 updates monthly.
- Engage with stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning decisions.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven expertise in planning within an engineering design consultancy environment.
- Knowledge of NEC4 contracts and DCMA quality checks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis.
- Degree‑level education preferred.
- Ability to obtain SC clearance (DV clearance highly desirable).
