Working alongside architects, engineers, project managers and digital specialists, you’ll help shape how BIM is delivered across the business, ensuring every project benefits from robust processes, well‑coordinated models and consistently high data integrity. About You

As a BIM Information Manager, you will be a hands‑on digital delivery specialist with a strong track record of coordinating BIM models and managing information workflows on complex projects. You will thrive in a collaborative design environment and enjoy working closely with multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure accurate, compliant and well‑structured project information.

You will bring solid experience in end‑to‑end BIM delivery, with the ability to integrate models, resolve issues effectively and maintain alignment with project requirements. You’ll be proactive, technically competent, and committed to upholding best practice, supporting both project teams and early‑career colleagues.

Your background will ideally include:

  • Experience delivering coordinated BIM models, federations and structured data such as COBie.
  • Strong understanding of BIM standards and processes, including EIRs, BEPs, and ISO 19650.
  • Previous involvement in BIM coordination meetings, reporting, validation and compliance checks.
  • Experience setting up and managing Common Data Environments (CDEs).
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
  • Confidence providing BIM technical support, training or mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Coordination

  • Deliver well‑coordinated BIM models and datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance.
  • Support the creation and management of federated 3D models and associated BIM data, including COBie.
  • Carry out detailed model validation, clash detection, coordination and compliance checks.
  • Liaise closely with designers, subcontractors and manufacturers to resolve issues and support coordination.

BIM Process Management

  • Set up and manage project BIM environments and workflows.
  • Establish, maintain and administer the CDE in partnership with Document Control and project teams.
  • Ensure projects follow EIRs, BEPs, ISO 19650 and internal BIM procedures.
  • Chair and contribute to BIM coordination meetings, providing progress updates and reporting on compliance.

Team & Business Support

  • Support the delivery of BIM training, presentations and technical workshops.
  • Contribute to bids, tenders, scopes of work and fee estimates where required.
  • Manage quality, consistency and compliance across local teams and projects.
  • Mentor and support graduates, apprentices and early‑career BIM professionals.
  • Deliver high‑quality, compliant BIM outputs that enhance project delivery.
  • Identify and resolve issues early, preventing downstream coordination challenges.
  • Maintain excellent adherence to BIM standards and project requirements.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across disciplines and with supply chain partners.
  • Are recognised as a dependable and proactive BIM specialist who supports both project outcomes and team capability.
  • Deliver training and workshops that are clear, engaging and well‑received by colleagues.
