We’re looking for a Senior Structural Engineer who thrives on solving complex technical problems and delivering high‑quality structural design across aviation, nuclear, defence, industrial, rail, public sector, power and specialist infrastructure projects.

- What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading structural design packages for small to medium projects, or owning key design elements within major multidisciplinary schemes
- Producing and reviewing structural calculations, models, drawings and specifications
- Applying strong working knowledge of UK design codes, including Eurocodes, National Annexes and British Standards
- Carrying out detailed structural analysis using industry‑standard software
- Contributing to project programmes and providing clear progress updates to senior engineers
- Supporting tenders, fee proposals and technical scope development
- Introducing practical, buildable structural solutions that improve sustainability and delivery outcomes
- Mentoring junior structural engineers and supporting their technical development
- What You’ll Bring
- Chartered Structural Engineer (CEng MIStruct E or CEng MICE with a strong structural focus)
- Strong experience delivering structural design for complex building or infrastructure projects
• Technical expertise across
- Steel, concrete, timber and masonry design
- Foundation design, both shallow and deep
- Structural assessments and refurbishment
- Dynamic or seismic analysis, advantageous
- High proficiency in tools such as Tekla Structural Designer, STAAD, Robot or Tedds
- Experience working within integrated multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience within sectors such as aviation, defence, nuclear, rail, power or public sector is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of BIM workflows and tools such as Navisworks
- Understanding of CDM duties and structural safety responsibilities
- CSCS card, eligibility for SC clearance, and a full UK driving licence
