We are working with a highly successful organisation based in York, North Yorkshire. They are looking to recruit a Programme Manager to work alongside the Transport Advisor to manage the Programme as it develops by:
- Setting up, developing and overseeing working groups on a range of technical and functional subjects, as well as a Programme Board involving senior leaders.
- Preparing a programme plan and assisting in the development of a Heads of Terms agreement with the partner authorities.
- Developing and maintaining a detailed project programme that identifies detailed tasks, timescales for completion and important dependencies.
The programme will be developed in conjunction with the working groups to be set up. This programme will be used to drive progress and report on risks associated with late delivery. This interim role provides immediate specialist capacity, delivery confidence, and experienced leadership to successfully manage a critical transformation agenda while strengthening broader organisational programme management capability. The role will provide senior interim leadership to oversee the mobilisation, governance, and delivery of a complex, high-profile transformation programme, while also supporting wider strategic transformation and change initiatives across the broader organisation.
