This is an exciting opportunity to join a brilliant team to support the continued growth of an established family-owned business in Leeds.
The Role: Focussing mainly on new transformer and package substation installation on site including fitting, wiring and testing of both distribution and power transformers. The role also includes some warranty investigation and rectification work on site and more routine equipment maintenance tasks.
Key areas include:
- Based on site with some occasional in-house pre-fitting and assembly of various types of distribution and power transformers and associated packages.
- You will prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and pre-assembly images, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- You will assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
- You will be required to travel to third party sites both in the UK and Europe to build up the equipment and test.
- You will ensure that all equipment is assembled and tested to the highest standard.
- You will be a customer-facing ambassador of Wilson Power Solutions whilst on site.
