Our client in Pudsey is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy team. Previous experience is essential. This role focuses heavily on weekly supplier statement reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across a portfolio of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform weekly reconciliations of supplier statements
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, missing invoices, and payment queries
  • Maintain accurate purchase ledger records
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues
  • Support month-end processes and ensure accounts are up to date

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
  • Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage supplier relationships
  • Good Excel skills and experience with finance systems
