Our client in Pudsey is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy team. Previous experience is essential. This role focuses heavily on weekly supplier statement reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across a portfolio of accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly reconciliations of supplier statements
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, missing invoices, and payment queries
- Maintain accurate purchase ledger records
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues
- Support month-end processes and ensure accounts are up to date
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage supplier relationships
- Good Excel skills and experience with finance systems
