We are looking for an experienced Materials Handler/ FLT Driver to join the Operations team in an established family-owned business in Leeds (LS11). Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment and pioneers of super low loss amorphous transformer technology.
The role has a variety of responsibilities to keep you busy throughout the day:
- Your core duties will be loading and unloading of various types of distribution and power transformers utilising the overhead crane.
- Transporting and processing various materials across two sites using FLT and Company van.
- Using general workshop machinery and hand tools related to the role.
- Quality inspection of colleagues' output.
- Maximise the uptime of operations by delivering materials in a timely manner.
- Performance of area housekeeping activities, including the prompt reporting of problems, shortages or equipment breakdown.
