We are working with a leading organisation based in Leeds, they are looking for an experienced Packaging & Artwork Co-ordinator to support their Brand & Governance Teams. This is an initial 12-month contract, working 3 days a week at their Leeds City Centre office. The Co-ordinator will provide support for the packaging, branding, artwork, governance and photography processes.The role acts as the key link between Brand, Design, Technical, Trading, Global Sourcing, external agencies and suppliers to ensure all packaging and artwork is delivered accurately, compliantly, on time and in line with brand standards. Brand Governance & Guideline Management Support the Brand teams on packaging projects, rebrands, stand-alone brands, and other strategic initiatives. Maintain and develop packaging and branding guidelines to ensure they remain fit for purpose. Working with our agency partners and artwork vendors, ensure guidelines are up to date and followed accurately. Provide artwork cutters, legacy artwork files, and brand assets to support new creative development. Liaise with Print Specialists to create and maintain colour reproduction guidelines. Act as a point of contact for packaging and brand-related queries. Respond promptly to requests from Global Sourcing, artwork vendors, technical teams, traders, designers, project planners, and print specialists to ensure no delays to critical path delivery. Brief artwork vendors using range lists provided by Project Planning teams. Support Technical teams in the creation and maintenance of packaging compliance guidelines. Creative & Technical Design Support Create packaging design traces and image placement guides using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to support photography requirements. Develop layout visuals and packaging mock-ups to support internal team and artwork vendors with interpretation of packaging guidelines. Create packaging concepts and layouts for new or developing product categories where agency support is unavailable. Produce presentation visuals and mock-ups for senior stakeholders and brand development projects. Artwork Approval & Compliance Review and approve packaging artwork through the Opal system. Ensure all artworks comply with: Packaging guidelines Brand standards Technical requirements Colour reproduction standards Packaging orientation requirements Photography and image placement standards Identify and resolve artwork issues to support timely product launches and artwork release. Essential Experience Experience working within packaging, artwork, brand management, design operations, or a similar discipline. Experience managing packaging artwork through approval and production processes. Experience working with external agencies, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders. Experience maintaining brand guidelines and governance processes. Experience supporting multiple projects within a fast-paced retail environment. Technical Skills Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills, primarily Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong understanding of packaging artwork processes. Knowledge of colour reproduction and print production requirements. Experience using artwork approval systems. Strong Microsoft Office and SharePoint skills.
