We are looking for an interim HR Administrator to join a brilliant HR Operations team in Blackburn, this is initially a 3 month contract starting in April 2025. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
As a HR Administrator, you will play a key role in providing efficient support to the business operations, ensuring colleagues and managers receive high quality assistance while maintaining accurate records and systems. The successful candidate will be a forward thinking and organised individual with great attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor HR Coordinator communication channels (e.g., inbox, phone line, ticketing system) and appropriately distribute enquiries
- Uphold company policies to safeguard GDPR compliance
- Manage employment and reference letters
- Maintain up-to-date employee files and HR systems, including personal data
- Serve as the primary point of contact for colleagues and managers, providing guidance on system processes
- Oversee the leavers process and respond to resignation notifications as needed
- Handle DBS and credit check processes
- Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing employee records and HR coordinator workflows
- Assist the HR advisory team with tasks such as AWOL management, immigration checks, and absences
- Collaborate with HR advisors to broaden knowledge and expertise across HR functions
- Compile requested company reports and process employment changes accordingly
- Update policies and procedures as required
- Undertake individual projects
