The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 Β£ per year.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Testing Engineer to join the Operations team in an established family-owned business in Leeds (LS11). Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical power distribution equipment and pioneers of super low loss amorphous transformer technology.

Reporting to the Senior Testing Engineer, key responsibilities will include:

  • Testing, repair and troubleshooting across the range of company products both in-house and on site.
  • In-house testing of transformers/marshalling enclosures/control panels.
  • Testing of LV cabinets and control devices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years testing experience within an electrical engineering company.
  • Experience of testing and commissioning transformers is essential.
  • Hold electrical qualifications and have knowledge of electrical regulations.
  • The ability to understand electrical schematic drawings.
  • Clear understanding of Health & Safety & Risk Assessment policies and responsibility.

  • Week 1: 7.45 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday (Friday off).
  • Week 2: 7.45 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Thursday and 7.45 am to 3.15 pm on Friday.
