We are seeking a lively, reliable, and committed Legal Assistant to join our Personal Injury team at our newly opened Oldham office. This is a fully office based position and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in law, with clear progression opportunities to a Claims Handler role for the right candidate.
Location: Oldham, England, United Kingdom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting fee earners within the Personal Injury department.
- Answering incoming telephone calls from clients and third parties in a professional and courteous manner.
- Dealing with client queries where appropriate and ensuring matters are passed on correctly.
- Taking accurate and detailed messages and relaying them promptly.
- Chasing liability updates from insurers and third parties.
- Updating clients on the progress of their claims.
- Drafting legal and non-legal correspondence.
- Speaking with new clients and taking initial claim details.
- Performing vetting and compliance checks.
- Accurately inputting information onto the case management system.
- Maintaining strict data confidentiality at all times.
- General office duties including incoming and outgoing post.
About You:

Experience:
