An AIM-listed, high-growth experiential leisure group is hiring a Senior Management Accountant into its expanding finance function. Operating multiple consumer-facing brands and continuing an ambitious growth journey, the business offers a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with significant opportunity for progression.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a broad, hands-on management accounting role with responsibility for delivering timely, high-quality financial information to support decision-making across the group. The role offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders and is designed to evolve as the business continues to scale.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts for a core trading entity
- Weekly reporting and detailed monthly variance analysis
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers, accruals and prepayments
- Ownership of accounts receivable processes across multiple entities
- Monitoring and tracking of marketing and departmental budgets
- Support with weekly payment runs
- Support with monthly payroll administration
- Assistance with half-year and year-end audit processes
- Analytical and operational support to the Finance Manager
- Collaboration with sales, marketing and operations teams
- Involvement in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as the business scales
Qualifications
This role would suit a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience preparing consolidated monthly management accounts and a solid grounding in group accounting. You will be comfortable working in a hands-on role, producing accurate outputs to tight deadlines, and partnering with non-finance stakeholders. Strong Excel skills are essential, with experience of Xero and/or NetSuite beneficial.
