A fast-growing, VC-backed D2C business are looking for an experienced, hands-on Finance Transformation Lead to help build a scalable, best-in-class finance function.
Working closely with the management, you will review and prioritise the transformation agenda before leading delivery across:
- End-to-end stock management, including forecasting, ordering, returns, provisions, write-offs and reconciliations.
- Working capital optimisation and improvements to the cash cycle.
- Month-end and financial controls, targeting a sub-5-day close and robust balance sheet reconciliations.
- Finance systems and processes, including Xero, Cin7 and the phasing out of the current system.
- P2P process design and implementation.
- Alignment of financial and operational KPIs across systems.
- Frameworks for team financial targets and performance.
The business are looking for someone with proven experience in high-growth, VC backed environments, who has repeatedly transformed underdeveloped finance operations into effective, scalable processes. Physical stock experience is essential, ideally within a D2C/e-commerce business with digital marketing as a key growth driver.
This is a highly hands-on role for a pragmatic doer who can identify problems quickly, implement solutions and drive meaningful change at pace.
