My client is seeking a qualified accountant to join their Group Finance team, supporting the delivery of high-quality financial consolidation and external reporting in line with established timetables. The role involves preparing Group reporting schedules and guidance, supporting system implementation and maintenance, and contributing to the review and presentation of Business Unit performance.
You will play a key role in supporting the audit process by coordinating with auditors and subsidiaries to ensure the timely delivery of statutory accounts. The position also offers exposure to a variety of ad hoc projects, including external reporting improvements, collaboration with the Group M&A team on non-routine transactions, and the development of financial policies and technical accounting solutions alongside the Head of Group External Reporting.
My client is looking for a qualified accountant with relevant post-qualification experience, strong technical accounting skills, and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You will be a proactive team player with a strong focus on controls and continuous improvement, able to build effective relationships, challenge senior stakeholders, and communicate clearly. Experience with Oracle would be advantageous but is not essential.
