A global technology business is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its Head Office finance team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to take on a broad, visible role within an evolving, change-driven international business.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely and high-quality statutory and management reporting across the group’s corporate entities. This is a hands-on role with strong technical accounting content, including IFRS reporting, UK statutory accounts, multi-currency accounting, loans, interest, equity transactions, dividends and complex foreign exchange.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for maintaining robust reporting structures, ensuring accounting data aligns with the corporate functional structure, and supporting effective cost control and variance analysis. You will also work closely with Treasury, Tax, HR, IT and wider Finance teams to improve upstream data quality, strengthen financial controls and ensure consistency across key systems.
The role will include the preparation of management reports for central functions, ownership of cost centres, UK statutory accounts preparation, audit support, and reconciliation of data across SAP, SAP BW and Oracle EPM. You will also support forecasts, budgets and ad hoc finance projects as the organisation continues to evolve.
This role is particularly suited to a qualified accountant who enjoys project-based work, financial control, statutory reporting and working with complex corporate structures. The successful candidate will need the confidence and depth of experience to operate autonomously in a corporate head office environment.
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified, with strong financial reporting and accounting experience. You will have UK statutory accounts preparation experience, multi-currency accounting exposure, solid IFRS knowledge and experience working with a ledger system, ideally SAP.
You will be detail-focused, well organised and comfortable managing deadlines such as month-end close. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work with stakeholders across Finance, HR, IT, Treasury and Tax. A proactive, flexible and improvement-focused mindset will be key, as the business is embracing change and continuous improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant to join a complex international group in a visible corporate finance role offering technical depth, senior stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to contribute to a developing finance function.
