Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted finance partner to the regional leadership team, providing clear, accurate, and accessible management information to support decision-making.
- Translate complex data into insights that are easily understood by non-financial stakeholders, highlighting key opportunities and risks.
- Build strong, credible relationships with operational teams by engaging in a supportive, collaborative, and objective manner to drive business performance.
- Deliver regular trading performance updates to the regional leadership team, including weekly and periodic analysis.
- Lead regional sales forecasting processes, including like-for-like performance analysis and run rate assessments.
- Support operational teams in developing the skills and confidence to create and own accurate sales forecasts.
- Take full ownership of the regional profit and loss (P&L) statement and site-level profitability analysis.
- Identify risks and opportunities within the region and assess their impact on the broader business plan.
- Drive commercial acumen across the region by fostering understanding of key financial drivers and promoting initiatives to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Continuously improve reporting tools and management information to provide actionable insights and facilitate performance improvements.
- Collaborate with property and operations teams to identify opportunities for capacity growth within the estate.
- Support investment appraisal processes and provide detailed financial analysis to inform business cases.
- Work closely with cross-functional regional teams—including marketing, HR, and others—to ensure alignment with regional goals and enhance commercial understanding.
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly executive reports, ensuring that analysis is aligned with key business metrics, strategic priorities, and emerging trends.
- Lead and manage specific components of the budgeting and forecasting process, including regional sales and labour planning.
