Finance Manager
Location: South West London
Reporting to: CFO
A growing multichannel financial services business, specialising in loan products, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead its core financial operations. Based in South West London and reporting to the CFO, this is a pivotal role that combines financial leadership, regulatory compliance, and strategic support for the wider business.
The Finance Manager will take ownership of the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including loan portfolio performance, profit and loss accounts, and balance sheets. They will be responsible for monitoring and optimising cash flow, managing capital requirements, and overseeing funding strategies to support ongoing lending activity.
A key part of the role involves ensuring the business remains fully compliant with financial regulations and reporting obligations. The Finance Manager will also lead on internal and external audits, maintain strong internal controls, and oversee the development of financial policies and risk management frameworks.
Working cross-functionally, they will collaborate with teams across underwriting, collections, and product development to ensure financial objectives are aligned with operational execution. They will also provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership, helping to drive profitability, growth, and cost efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) with at relevant experience in a finance or accounting role—preferably within a financial services or lending environment.
