A leading, well-established hospitality brand is seeking a Finance Manager to join its growing finance team. Operating a premium multi-site estate across the UK and internationally, the business is continuing to expand and is looking to strengthen its finance function with a technically strong and commercially minded accountant.
This is a critical role within the finance team, responsible for leading the month-end and management accounting process across a portfolio of sites, while building strong relationships with operational leaders. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, the role offers excellent exposure to senior stakeholders and involvement in new site openings and strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a small team responsible for the month-end close across multiple sites
- Ensure timely, accurate and well-controlled production of monthly management accounts
- Review P&Ls, perform variance analysis, and provide clear performance commentary
- Own balance sheet control, including accruals, prepayments, provisions and reconciliations
- Partner closely with General Managers and operational leaders to support performance and cost control
- Support budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting for your portfolio, providing insight and challenge
- Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and financial controls across sites
- Work closely with other departments to ensure operational changes and events are reflected accurately at month-end
- Oversee accounting for new site openings, pre-opening costs and capital investment
- Identify and drive improvements in processes, reporting quality and efficiency within management accounting
- Act as a key point of contact between finance and operations for your sites
- Support ad hoc projects, including international expansion and strategic finance initiatives
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong experience in management accounting, ideally within a multi-site, hospitality, retail or other operationally complex environment. You will have a solid understanding of month-end processes, balance sheet control and financial reporting, along with the confidence to partner non-finance stakeholders and communicate financial performance clearly. You will be comfortable managing a small team, highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Strong Excel skills are essential, and experience with Sage 200 or QuickBooks would be advantageous.
If you are a technically strong and commercially aware Finance Manager looking to take ownership of a high-impact role within a growing hospitality business, please apply or get in touch for a confidential discussion.
