Baker Charles is working with a dynamic, customer-focused casual dining restaurant group (part of a larger PE-backed hospitality group) to appoint an interim Commercial Finance Manager. This is a hands-on, high-impact role within a newly created commercial finance team, working closely with the Finance Director. You’ll be instrumental in driving performance, delivering insight, and influencing key commercial decisions during a critical phase of growth.

Commercial Finance Lead – Interim role focusing on partnering with operations, marketing, and senior stakeholders to drive financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Business Partnering & Insight – Partner with Operations, Marketing, and senior stakeholders to deliver actionable financial insights and drive decision-making.
- Commercial Analysis – Analyse performance across sites, lead pricing/margin reviews, and support profitability strategies.
- Financial Planning & Reporting – Manage budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting, delivering clear and meaningful analysis.
- Projects & Systems – Support finance transformation and automation projects, and develop robust dashboards and scorecards.
About You
- Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA)
- Strong experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering
- Background in multi-site, retail, hospitality, or consumer sectors
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
- Able to work at pace, influence stakeholders, and provide clarity through analysis
