Commercial Director – Global Creative Agency
£90,000 – £100,000 + package | Central London (Zone 1, hybrid)
A leading international creative agency, partnering with some of the world’s most recognised luxury and lifestyle brands across strategy, design, content, and production, is looking for a Commercial Director.
With offices in Europe, the US, and the Middle East, and as part of a wider global group of industry-leading agencies, the business is scaling quickly. Reporting to the CFO, this role will be pivotal in driving sustainable profitability, operational excellence, and best-in-class commercial practices across international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning & analysis, delivering insight to shape strategic decisions.
- Partner with senior leadership to improve project and divisional profitability.
- Support client and supplier contract negotiations, ensuring commercial value is maximised.
- Oversee commercial operations including insurance, IT services, and vendor management.
- Drive process improvements that balance creativity with financial discipline.
- Lead and develop a small commercial team, working closely with Finance, HR, and Operations.
Candidate Profile:
- Significant senior-level experience in commercial, finance, or operations within creative, professional services, or consulting.
- Strong financial literacy with expertise in FP&A, pricing, and profitability analysis.
- Proven success in contract negotiations, ideally across international markets.
- Hands-on experience managing insurance, IT suppliers, and broader commercial operations.
- A collaborative leader able to influence at senior level and drive positive change.
