The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced FP&A leader to join a high-growth business in a newly created Head of FP&A position. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for building and establishing the FP&A function, creating the processes, reporting and commercial insights required to support ambitious growth plans. With the business targeting a doubling of turnover over the next three years, this role will play a key part in driving strategic decision-making and performance management across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop the FP&A function, processes and reporting framework.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning activities.
  • Deliver meaningful management reporting, KPI analysis and commercial insights.
  • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to challenge performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Support Board and executive-level reporting.
  • Drive improvements in planning, forecasting and business performance.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a senior FP&A role.
  • Demonstrable track record of building or significantly developing an FP&A function.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience within a growing, fast-paced business environment is highly desirable.
