- Ownership of statutory accounting and compliance across the group
- Preparation and management of the external audit process
- Statutory accounts preparation and review
- Intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities
- Ownership and maintenance of the fixed asset register

This role would suit a qualified accountant (ACA from a Top 10 firm, or ACCA / CIMA) who is either straight from practice or already working in a Financial Accountant or technical accounting role. You will be comfortable owning audit and statutory processes end to end and enjoy working in a role where technical judgement, structure, and accuracy really matter. An interest in lease accounting, property accounting, and IFRS 16 is beneficial, alongside a genuine ambition to progress into a Financial Controller role.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with a clear and credible route to Financial Controller, within a PE backed business. The role is technical and provides genuine stretch, while offering close day-to-day working with an experienced Group Financial Controller who will actively support your development.
