Role: Civil Design Engineer - Water
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £55k (Depending on Experience)
Produce design deliverables for civil engineering designs across the water industry.
- Provide design deliverables that satisfy safety and quality requirements.
- Produce design calculations and drawings for the water industry.
- Direct and develop CAD technicians.
- Prepare design risk assessments, reports and specifications.
- Design in compliance with relevant technical, professional and water company standards.
- Ensure project change for design package is fully implemented and recorded.
- Undertake work using formal processes and procedures.
- Assist with estimating hours required for design packages.
- Present at and attend meetings and design presentations.
Experience Required:
- 5 years’ relevant design experience in the regulated water industry.
- Experience in carrying out hydraulic calculations and preparing hydraulic profiles.
- Graduate, HND or significant experience from Technician level.
- Good level IT.
- Registered with professional body and working towards chartership.
