Our Client A leading system integration specialist for electrical and mechanical automation systems in Food and Drink, Water Treatment and Parcel Distribution sectors operating at client sites around the world. Role Reporting to the Design & Technical Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of electro-mechanical design solutions assigned to you in compliance with current legislation and procedural controls. About You Ideally you will be a graduate in an Electrical Engineering discipline and have a background in electrical engineering with an interest in the design of electrical control panels and the preparation of the associated documentation for the electrical elements of automation projects with a large process control element. You will assist in all technical aspects of assigned projects. You will provide technical expertise to guide colleagues through assembly, testing, installation and commissioning phases. Key Responsibilities * Pursue preparation of commercially viable Electrical Designs * Support the delivery of projects through to successful completion * Engage with and support colleagues in Design and Technical, Manufacturing, Operations and Site Installation activities * Complete assigned tasks to schedule and report any issues or variations * Maintain positive relationships with client representatives and other third parties * Present completed work in compliance with machinery safety directives and in line with Elmleigh brand values Job requirements You will need * +1 years’ experience of electrical design in a similar industrial sector * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * To be a team player and customer focused Qualifications and Licences * Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Desirable) *Please note that all candidates will need to have full eligibility to work in the UK – Visa Sponsorship is not available
