Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Coventry

Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer\\n\\nLocation: Coventry\\n\\nRate: £35+ p/h (Depending on experience)\\n\\nIR35: Outside\\n\\nOur client has a vacancy for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join this dynamic and forward thinking organisation which serves the transportation industry.\\n\\nIn the capacity of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:\\n\\n * Working as an integral part of a team.\\n\\n * Increasing machine uptime.\\n\\n * Operating lean manufacturing techniques.\\n\\n * Planning and supporting 5s activities.\\n\\n * Implementing Planned Maintenance (PM) Programmes.\\n\\n * Housekeeping e.g. machine refurbishments\\n\\n * Participating in the internal multi-skilling programme.\\n\\n * Supporting the manufacturing function.\\n\\n * Carry out maintenance tasks in a timely manner to an acceptable standard.\\n\\n * Reporting to production supervisors for breakdown and completion hand over.\\n\\n * Co-ordinate activities for the other engineers and contractors engaged on engineering support projects.\\n\\n * Responsibility for all related aspects of EHS.\\n\\n * Identify and improve productivity opportunities through continuous improvement initiatives that are engineering related.\\n\\n * To provide specific support for engineering projects.\\n\\n * To provide technical expertise for FMEA.\\n\\n * To offer support for problem solving activities taking place on site.\\n\\nQualifications & Functional Experience:\\n\\n * HNC\\n\\n * Time served engineering apprenticeship within a manufacturing engineering environment.\\n\\n * several years-experience of working on modern machine tools, with PLC/CNC electrical and electronic control systems.\\n\\n * A working knowledge of modern pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components and specifically experience working on Hydromat (Rotary’s). Hydraulic Knowledge is essential.\\n\\n * Methodical, logical and able to make decisions
