Scope of Role: To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Group Technical Director and Group Project Director as required. The role also provides administrative support to Centres of Competence within the Group Matrix Organisation (Technical, Marketing and Quality Systems), alongside wider group administrative responsibilities.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Provide full administrative and secretarial support to the Group Technical Director and Group Project Director, including travel, accommodation, visas, holidays, appointments and diary management.
  • Provide administrative support to the Bakels Group Sustainability and Health & Safety platforms, including scheduling training, providing training materials, supporting ASSCOs with access and usage, monitoring data entries, and producing monthly and annual reports.
  • Support the collection and monitoring of production performance KPIs across the Bakels Group, helping to implement structured KPI monitoring and reporting systems, capacity planning, and GMP monitoring of energy, waste and water via local sustainability teams.
  • Assist with administrative tasks across various Bakels Group platforms, including supporting ASSCOs with enquiries and managing membership for the Group Leatherhead Helpline.
  • Devise and maintain office systems, including data management and filing, and take responsibility for accounts and budgets where required.
  • Carry out background research and present findings through documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
  • Maintain SharePoint and other Group Executive Management platforms in a tidy and orderly manner, working with local site ASSCO owners to ensure records are accurate and reflect the current position.
