The Opportunity
Baird is continuing to strengthen its presence in the UK as part of its broader growth across the Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) region, focusing on innovative solutions for ports, marine infrastructure, and coastal engineering.
We are interested in speaking with experienced Senior Marine / Coastal Engineers who can contribute to both technical delivery and client-facing activities, supporting the ongoing development of our UK and regional portfolio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse international project base while contributing to the continued growth of Baird's presence in the UK and the broader EMEA region.
What You Will Do
- Lead and deliver complex marine and coastal engineering projects.
- Provide technical expertise in areas such as port design, coastal protection, and marine infrastructure.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals.

What You Will Bring
- Experience: A senior engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in ports, marine infrastructure, or coastal engineering.
- Consulting Experience: Proven track record delivering projects within a consulting environment, including effective engagement with clients.
- Technical Expertise: Strong technical skills in marine and coastal engineering, including design, analysis, and project management.
- Business Development: Experience contributing to proposals, developing client relationships, identifying and supporting the pursuit of new opportunities.
