Are you a seasoned project manager with expertise or a strong interest in fire investment projects? Spirehouse Recruitment is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a talented Project Manager (Fire). In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing contracts, issuing work orders, managing progress meetings, and ensuring the successful and timely completion of fire safety projects.

The Project Manager (Fire) duties will include:

  • Managing remedial works
  • Ensuring compliance with Building Control notifications, Construction Design & Management (CDM) regulations, and planning requirements.
  • Maintaining high-quality standards through sample inspections and addressing any non-compliance issues
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to procure contractors and consultants for fire safety initiatives
  • Ensuring contracts deliver value for money and manage project costs within approved budgets.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with proven project management experience, ideally with a background in fire-related projects. A strong technical understanding of residential structures, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to produce clear and concise reports are essential. Desirable qualifications include professional fire safety certifications (NEBOSH, IFE, or equivalent) and HNC/HND in Building Surveying, CIOB, or a related field.

A valid driving licence and a roadworthy vehicle are required, as is the ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE), stairs, and ladders during site inspections. The successful Project Manager (Fire) will undergo a basic Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
