We are seeking an experienced, resilient, and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee a vital support service operating across the Hackney and Haringey areas. This role is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team specialising in high-quality, person‑centred care for younger adults with complex, higher‑level support needs. You will take operational and strategic responsibility for the service, ensuring full regulatory compliance while actively empowering our residents to achieve independence and thrive within their communities.
Key Duties
- Act as the CQC Registered Manager for the service, ensuring total compliance with all regulatory standards, legislation, and best practice frameworks.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary support team, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high‑performance workplace culture.
- Oversee the assessment, implementation, and regular review of person‑centred care and support plans tailored to individuals with complex/high needs.
- Manage service budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and value for money without compromising on quality of care.
- Drive continuous service improvement, implementing robust quality assurance processes and handling safeguarding requirements with the utmost seriousness.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with local authorities, health professionals, families, and external stakeholders across Hackney and Haringey.
- Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, training matrices, and regular supervisions to maintain an exceptionally high standard of care delivery.
Benefits

Requirements
- Qualifications: NVQ/QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven track record as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a setting supporting younger adults with high‑level or complex needs (e.g., learning disabilities, mental health, autism, or challenging behaviours).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of CQC regulations, the Care Act 2014, and local authority safeguarding procedures.
- Leadership Skills: Strong people management capabilities, with an ability to motivate teams and safely navigate challenging situations.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to manage sensitive situations with diplomacy and empathy.
- Mobility: Flexibility and willingness to travel between services and office sites across the Hackney and Haringey boroughs.
