Avalon is seeking an experienced leader to take operational responsibility for a local authority Building Control service, overseeing surveying, technical, and business support teams. The Building Control Interim Lead will act as the council's primary professional lead, ensuring statutory compliance with building safety requirements while driving service transformation and increasing market share through strategic marketing and digital innovation.
Key Duties:
- Manage as the Building Control Interim Lead to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Provide expert professional guidance to the Council and stakeholders on all aspects of building safety and statutory requirements.
- Implement and maintain service quality assurance standards to ensure full compliance with Building Safety Regulator (BSR) requirements.
