WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a Specialist on the Brand Management team, you’ll work closely with the Senior Manager of Brand Management (your direct manager) and collaborate across almost every area of Bain’s Marketing department. You’ll engage most regularly with campaign leads, design project managers, designers, copywriters, the social media team, and paid media leads to ensure brand consistency and effective execution.

The Brand Management team sits in Bain’s Brand Studio center of excellence. Part of the global Marketing department, the Brand Studio is a team of creative strategists and strategic creatives on a mission to help drive extraordinary business outcomes through breakthrough brand strategy, design, video and communications. We create experiences that champion our brand, communicate with clarity, and reinforce Bain and the firm of choice for clients and talent.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Specialist, you’ll support the coordination high-priority campaigns and assist with brand governance, ensuring Bain’s brand is applied consistently and effectively. You’ll contribute to campaign briefs, monitor progress, and help gather insights, working closely with your manager and team to keep projects moving forward and brand aligned.
You’ll work on:
Campaign Support & Coordination (30%)
- Join campaign kickoff and planning calls, ensuring clear objectives and timelines.
- Draft campaign briefs that capture goals, audiences, key messages, and asset needs.
- Help monitor campaign progress, flagging risks or inconsistencies and raising them to your manager.
- Collaborate with Bain’s Brand Studio and other marketing centers of excellence (design, copywriting, social, video, paid media, web, etc.) to help ensure brand consistency.
- Share updates and support alignment across stakeholders.
Brand Governance & Management (15%)
- Learn Bain’s brand identity and strategy, including brand voice and architecture, and apply them to your work.
- Help maintain governance documentation and brand materials, including the Bain “Intro Deck,” the internal brand center site, and key brand training resources.
- Support brand governance by helping maintain documentation and escalating issues when brand integrity may be at risk.
Process & Efficiency (15%)
- Refine and document briefing templates, handoff processes, and campaign workflows to improve speed and clarity.
- Identify and recommend workflow enhancements to reduce rework and increase impact.
- Contribute ideas for workflow improvements and support implementation.
Research & Insight Generation (10%)
- Conduct competitive research and benchmark analyses to inform creative briefs and best practices.
- Summarize findings to help inform campaign and brand decisions.
Ad Hoc & Growth-Oriented Work (10%)
- Support with presentation decks, message frameworks, or light copywriting.
- Use generative AI tools to accelerate research, draft briefs, or summarize campaign insights.
ABOUT YOU:
- Undergraduate degree in business, marketing/communications, humanities, or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience, ideally in a professional services or agency environment, with experience supporting marketing projects and deliverables.
- Strong project coordination, organizational, and multitasking skills—comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear ideas and present them effectively to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders across regions and functions.
- Familiarity with marketing and collaboration tools such as Kapost, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to independently drive work forward with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have:
- B2B brand strategy or brand copywriting experience.
- Experience with brand governance and marketing campaign planning.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for marketing workflows.
U.S. Compensation Information
- In Dallas, TX, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time base salary range for this role is between $60,500-72,000;
- In Chicago, IL, the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time base salary range for this role is between $63,500-75,500;
- In Atlanta, GA the good-faith, reasonable annualized full-time base salary range for this role is between $57,500-68,500;
- Annual discretionary performance bonus;
- 4.5% 401(k) company contribution, which increases after 3 years of service and is 100% vested upon start date;
- Bain pays 100% individual employee premiums for medical, dental and vision programs;
- Generous paid time off, including parental leave, sick leave and paid holidays;
