WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role is part of the Professional Development (PD) and Staffing Talent team in London, working collaboratively with Talent partners across HR, Training, PEG Staffing, and PD Operations. You’ll also engage daily with our General Consulting population and the wider Consulting leadership team, with opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the EMEA region.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
As a key part of Bain London’s PD & Staffing engine, you’ll team with the Cohort Lead to support the day-to-day staffing and professional development of a specific consultant cohort. You’ll help allocate the right individuals to the right projects—balancing business needs with the growth, development, and well-being of each consultant. You\’ll also take ownership of the full PD cycle for your group and maintain our core systems and processes with rigorous attention to detail.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Your responsibilities will span staffing, professional development, and core talent operations:

Build relationships with consultants to understand their development needs, preferences, and case aspirations

Prepare staffing recommendations in collaboration with the Cohort Lead

Attend and contribute to weekly PD and staffing meetings

Track performance concerns and recommend staffing or PD solutions

Support new joiner staffing, including integration and onboarding

Maintain data accuracy in key systems (e.g., capacity whiteboards, boss coding, revenue tracking)

Deliver high-quality PD processes across promotions, reviews, feedback, and compensation cycles

Provide hands-on support with case reviews, click-ups, upward feedback, and LOA/global transfer queries

Monitor development areas and identify training or improvement interventions

Partner closely with the HRBP on employee relations matters

Step in to provide surge support to the broader team as needed
