You’ll join our Technology Services Group, a team focused on building and delivering innovative, user-centric digital products that power how Bain works. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across engineering, design, product, and business teams to deliver high-impact solutions that improve productivity and create meaningful business value across the firm.

As a Product Owner, you’ll lead the vision, prioritization, and delivery of a key performance management product at Bain. This role will help re-imagine an existing process of strategic importance to the firm, ensuring the tools that support it create clear value for users and the business.

Acting as the voice of the customer, you’ll translate product road maps into clear priorities for cross‑functional teams, balancing user needs, business impact, and technical feasibility. Through close collaboration with stakeholders and data‑led decision‑making, you’ll drive the evolution, adoption, and continuous improvement of the product and its broader platform, including emerging AI‑enabled capabilities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • You’ll translate the product strategy and road map into a clear, actionable plan, partnering with business and technology stakeholders to align priorities and support informed decision‑making.
  • You’ll build a deep understanding of customer segments, user needs, and value drivers, using KPIs, user feedback, and pilots to measure impact and continuously refine the roadmap.
  • You’ll also lead end‑user communication, training, and adoption strategies, while collaborating with other product teams to create seamless, integrated user experiences across Bain’s tools and platforms.
  • You’ll inspire and guide product teams by clearly communicating the product vision and business value.
  • You’ll own and continuously prioritize the product backlog to maximize outcomes, working closely with engineering teams and vendors to deliver enhancements, releases, and ongoing optimization.
  • You’ll write user stories with clear acceptance criteria, actively participate in Agile ceremonies, and support integration and usability improvements across systems and tools.
  • As needed, you may also manage contributors such as contractors or rotational team members.
  • You’ll build and maintain expertise in Bain’s internal systems, external market trends, and the evolving needs of users.
  • You’ll collaborate with technical teams to ensure product and technology strategies are closely aligned.

ABOUT YOU

  • You bring 5–8+ years of relevant experience in product ownership, product management, or a related field.
  • You have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product development practices, along with hands‑on experience working with software products, defining requirements, and resolving product issues.
  • You are comfortable influencing cross‑functional stakeholders and driving alignment across business and technology teams.
  • You communicate clearly, translating complex concepts into practical direction for different audiences.
  • You use data, user insight, and business judgement to prioritize effectively and make thoughtful trade‑offs.
  • Experience managing or collaborating with external vendors is a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring in‑office presence during the week.
