Global Training at Bain builds capabilities through a range of learning options. This includes live virtual and in-person programs, apprenticeship, coaching, mentoring, social, and self-directed digital learning. We are expanding the range and reach of digital/online learning at Bain through “next generation” content and engaging learner experiences. The Manager, Digital Learning Systems will perform a pivotal function within Bain’s Global Training team, serving as the primary learning system configurator and administrator for the firm's core learning platform (Springboard). This will involve comprehensively overseeing the management of the learning tech ecosystem, collaborating closely with technology, data and learning content teams within Bain and external vendors/providers. The role requires leading and coaching other team members in order to achieve strategic results.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure and administer learning systems, coordinate technology integration and system upgrades.
  • Serve as the primary learning system administrator to build deep technical knowledge of all relevant learning platforms and content technology (i.e., LMS, eLearning software, and content libraries) and use this expertise to advise the broader team on product goals and roadmap.
  • Plan, test and implement system updates.
  • Oversee integrations and connectors with AI platforms and Bain systems.
  • Oversee quality checks, test plans, support processes and learner support.
  • Serve as advisor to global training team for direction regarding Springboard and suggest process improvements to global/local system functionality.
  • Review upcoming product updates from the LMS supplier and identify potential backlog items that may be.
  • Manage vendor relationships with external systems and content providers.
