WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You’ll join the Marketing Events Team, part of Bain’s Global Marketing organization. The team plays a strategic role in delivering high-impact client engagement experiences, including practice-driven Bain-hosted events, Bain’s participation in third-party conferences, and select Market Reputation events in partnership with local markets. Working closely with Practice Marketers and Distribution Teams, the team helps shape event strategy, deliver exceptional in‑person and virtual experiences, and drive external engagement through thoughtful planning, strong collaboration, and effective budget management.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

In this role, you’ll support the planning and delivery of global marketing events that contribute directly to Bain’s client engagement and market reputation efforts. You’ll learn from a collaborative and experienced team while building foundational skills in event management, execution, and stakeholder coordination.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Bain-hosted Events
    • Support the planning and delivery of Bain-hosted events, both virtual and in‑person
    • Assist with event logistics, budgeting, and venue sourcing
    • Help prepare event materials, timelines, and branding assets
    • Provide on-site support to ensure smooth event execution
    • Gather feedback and track results to support continuous improvement
  • Third-Party Conferences
    • Research and gather information on relevant industry conferences
    • Support logistics for Bain’s participation, including registrations, travel coordination, and branding materials
    • Collaborate with internal teams to support content preparation and engagement plans
    • Help track event budgets and expenses
  • Team Contribution
    • Share new ideas, tools, or trends to enhance event delivery
    • Apply Bain’s event standards and best practices
    • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the Marketing organization

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or related field)
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience (event support, marketing, or project coordination)
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% annually
