You will become part of the UK Market Reputation team and support our efforts in strengthening Bain's reputation in the market, in partnership with office leadership and aligned with firm strategy & commercial objectives. The role will focus on increasing Bain's awareness among senior executives and high-value business communities on topics relevant across clients; reinforcing Bain's perception as the leading consulting partner to ambitious business leaders; and employer of choice for the best business talent. The Specialist will develop and execute marketing activities across channels to include Digital Marketing and Social Media, Events & Conferences, Alumni and other market-specific priorities. Provide on-going support to key stakeholders by delivering results, collaborating with other teams, tracking KPIs and performance, and helping to continuously improve and innovate.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Market Reputation marketing activities, including truly local activities for Programme management: Plan, develop and execute multi-channel marketing and communications programs to build awareness of Bain in the UK. These programs can include thought leadership, video, digital experiences, social media and events.
- Digital Marketing and Social Media: Design, lead and measure digital campaigns with global and local content to effectively reach target audiences. Create and distribute engaging social media content.
- Content: Collaborate with senior stakeholders, Marketing colleagues and our internal editorial team to develop new intellectual property (IP) and content specific to the local market. Create integrated marketing plans to promote content across digital channels and events.
- Events: Plan and execute executive thought-leadership events, including identifying and securing partners, speakers, 3rd party partnerships, sponsorships, conferences & events.
- Advise and influence senior stakeholders on marketing strategy and activation aligned to commercial priorities. Provide on-going Marketing support to the Market Reputation Senior Manager and local office Partners.
- Work collaboratively with other Marketing functions to ensure plans are aligned and complementary and to achieve Bain Marketing's overarching goals.
- Track Market Reputation KPIs and performance to optimize effectiveness and inform strategic planning. Be a marketing thought-leader; bring innovation to improve marketing programs, campaigns, tools and processes.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of direct experience in a professional services / agency or client environment. Proven track record within a relevant marketing specialization (e.g. campaign management, events, editorial, digital).
- Demonstrated multi-channel program management experience: working with senior stakeholders to understand the business requirements; leading projects from ideation to completion including defining scope, deadlines and cross-functional coordination; delivering and reporting impactful results.
- Proven track record of effective senior stakeholder management. Able to advise and influence senior leaders and internal colleagues on how to build Bain's reputation in the UK.
- Strong digital marketing experience with demonstrated results. Proven track record in creating, managing and evaluating digital marketing campaigns and ability to proactively suggest performance improvements.
- Highly collaborative with a client-centric mindset and experience working in a global organization with international teams.
- Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to liaise with stakeholders of various seniority with minimal input from leaders.
- Demonstrated ability to track and analyse key marketing metrics (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness, optimise performance and inform strategic decision making.
- Native English speaker preferred, with fluent English written and oral communication skills required.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications or business preferred.
