As an Expert Manager focused on marketing technology, you'll be a seasoned marketing practitioner who leads key workstreams within integrated Bain case teams.
You'll work closely with client teams and cross-functional colleagues from across Bain, using hands‑on platform experience, data, and analysis to generate insights and contribute to broader case results.
You'll help clients understand the impact of marketing technology decisions, connect marketing insights to broader business goals, and translate your expertise into practical recommendations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO Problem solving and case delivery
- Lead key workstreams, particularly those focused on marketing technology, with support from the leadership team.
- Deliver high-quality results that meet client expectations and strengthen client advocacy.
- Partner with Bain generalist consultants in blended teams, bringing together complementary skills and expertise.
- Apply deep marketing expertise across relevant industries, channels, platforms, products, and tools.
- Lead a wide range of analyses and consistently produce insightful, accurate outputs and materials.
- Use hands‑on experience with digital advertising, e‑commerce, and other marketing platforms to gather data, generate insights, and develop testing plans.
- Bring current knowledge of marketing technology and tools, including generative AI, attribution and measurement, marketing and advertising technology, and data.
- Client communication and results
- Build trusted relationships with clients and their agencies and collaborate effectively across stakeholder groups.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with case teams and clients, sharing insights and maintaining alignment on the workplan.

You bring
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience in marketing roles, including agency, brand, in‑house, or technology platform environments, with clear leadership experience and a consistent career trajectory.
- 3-5+ years of marketing technology experience, such as marketing technology stack assessments, marketing automation, customer data platform implementations, or measuring return on marketing technology investments.
- A bachelor's degree.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to solve complex problems.
- Experience contributing to high‑performing, cross‑functional, integrated teams.
- The ability to break complex problems into manageable pieces and apply a hypothesis‑driven approach.
- Demonstrated proficiency in one or more marketing domains.
