Our Associate Consultants work as members of case teams in roles that vary by the team's objective.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Gathering and interpreting data, presenting the findings and making recommendations to case team members and clients regarding various aspects of clients' operations.
- Work independently and with team members to identify information sources.
- Demonstrate effective and creative approaches to data gathering and analysis.
- Interview industry participants, as well as other Bain employees with relevant experience to develop complex analytic models and insights.
- Design and execute Excel models to perform sophisticated analysis; present findings and recommendations to case team members.
- Build collaborative relationships with and respect from clients.
- Formulate and communicate business insights and gain client support for analysis and conclusions.
- Work collaboratively as a member of a case team and with other colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher with strong academic performance, demonstrated quantitative background and abilities.
- 2 years or more relevant consulting experience.
- Strong analytical and logic skills.
- High level of motivation.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise business judgment and communicate persuasive conclusions and insights.
- Ability to effectively present data and respond to questions from colleagues, teams, and clients (both in writing and verbally).
- Ability to project poise, confidence and maturity in both internal and external situations.
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them within very tight timeframes.
- Ability to serve a full range of client assignments.
