Our client, a UHNWI, is seeking a well-versed, highly organised Chief of Staff to run the daily operations of their household. Based at their gorgeous new home, located within walking distance from Richmond Park, you will build an incredible rapport with the family and manage their London home as well as their international properties. As no two days are the same, they are looking for an individual who can hit the ground running, having worked in a similar role previously.
Main responsibilities:
- Researching and arranging all family holidays, flights (private jets), villas, passports
- Travelling ahead of each trip to ensure their house is set up and ready for their arrival
- Managing their three properties (London, Scotland, and Sweden)
- Ensuring all matters relating to the children, school, nanny, and personal plans, holidays, are managed (pickups, dentist and laundry)
- Setting up schedules for the staff, nannies, and contractors
- Handling all house renovations and liaising with external contractors
- Ensuring all teams (nannies and staff) are supported, adequately trained, and well managed
- Running and managing all recruitment of new staff, e.g., senior housekeeper, chef, gardener, and pool cleaner
- Daily diary and inbox management to ensure every day runs smoothly
- Liaising with her husband’s PA to ensure their diaries are in sync
- Wardrobe management, including packing and unpacking
- Managing returns to the post office and all the administration around this
- Handling tax returns, invoicing, budgets, and any other financial administration
- Any other duties commensurate with the role
The Person:
- Private PA and Household management experience
- Happy to travel as and when needed to their properties
- Ability to manage, prioritise, and action a large number of tasks
- Calm, professional, and able to work independently in a household
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to lead small teams and work as part of a team
- Confidence when dealing with a broad spectrum of people
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise absolute discretion at all times
