Baily Garner LLP, owner of 4i Solutions, is seeking an exceptional Head of Commercial to lead and grow our Commercial & Strategic Cost Management service line, delivering strategic advice to housing associations, local authorities, public sector clients, their Partners and Supply Chains across the UK.

The Opportunity

You will lead our Commercial/Strategic Cost Management service, acting as a trusted adviser to clients and their Partners on:

  • Open book target cost models
  • Partnering and collaborative contracts
  • Procurement and commercial governance
  • Risk and value-for-money assessments
  • Contract administration and commercial decision-making
  • Major housing investment, regeneration, repairs and asset management programmes

What We're Looking For

• We are interested in experienced commercial leaders with

  • An excellent communicator and leader
  • A Quantity Surveying or Cost Management background
  • Significant leadership experience within consultancy, client-side, contractor or public sector environments
  • Extensive knowledge of target cost and open-book commercial models
  • Strong social housing sector experience
  • A proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing teams
