Responsibilities
- Own and manage the credit control function and aged receivables ledger.
- Issue client statements and follow up outstanding balances promptly.
- Work with internal teams to resolve debtor queries and remove payment barriers.
- Manage overdue and high‐risk accounts, agreeing clear actions to maximise cash collection.
- Build strong relationships with clients, partners, directors and project teams.
- Provide updates at cash collection meetings, highlighting risks, actions and progress.
- Maintain accurate debtor records and produce clear collection reports.
- Use systems and process improvements to support efficient cash collection.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable or cash collection.
- Confident managing debtor ledgers, overdue accounts and collection priorities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a professional but firm approach.
- Able to build positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working to collection targets.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
