We are looking for a Learning & Development Business Partner to help shape and deliver learning that makes a real difference across Baily Garner. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, understanding what the business needs and turning insight into practical, high-impact development solutions.

What you'll do:
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, managers and subject matter experts to understand learning needs across the business.
- Identify capability gaps and help shape learning solutions that support business priorities and improve performance.
- Carry out learning needs reviews and help ensure development plans stay aligned with current and future business needs.
- Work closely with HR to support wider talent, performance and organisational development activity.
- Design, develop and evaluate digital and blended learning solutions, working with external providers where needed.
- Review and tailor existing learning content so it reflects Baily Garner's values, objectives and ways of working.
- Use data, feedback and evaluation insight to measure impact, spot trends and improve learning activity.
- Support the delivery of a high-quality, responsive L&D service across the business.
- Apply strong learning design principles and sound judgement to create practical, effective solutions.
- Help maintain clear L&D processes, standards and governance.
- Travel to various offices (once or twice a month, expenses covered by the business).
What we're looking for:
- A recognised L&D or training qualification, or equivalent professional learning qualification.
- Ongoing CPD in learning design, facilitation or related practice.
- Experience of building trusted relationships and influencing stakeholders at different levels.
- Strong knowledge of learning methodologies, adult learning principles and learning design approaches.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
- Good data literacy, with the ability to turn insight and evaluation findings into practical action.
- A proactive, curious and improvement-focused approach.
- A strong interest in digital learning, innovation and new ways of engaging learners.
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- A collaborative, professional and accountable approach, aligned to Baily Garner values.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience or training in facilitation, evaluation, change or project fundamentals.
- Professional membership of a relevant body, or a commitment to work towards this.
- Experience in a professional services environment, ideally within construction.
- Knowledge of systems and technologies that support learning delivery and engagement.
- Experience of working across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
- Experience of supporting project, programme or change activity.
- Experience of e-learning and blended learning programmes, including commissioning, briefing, quality assurance or design.
- Knowledge of the construction industry.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to demonstrate learning impact.
- Working knowledge of project, programme and change management principles.
