About the Role

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our friendly Finance team in Eltham, with the potential for hybrid working. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across sales ledger, expenses, credit control and reconciliations, while developing your skills in a supportive professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales ledger management in Sage, following internal and statutory requirements.
  • Process staff and credit card expenses through SAP and post expenses to Sage Intacct accurately and on time.
  • Help manage weekly BACS expense payments.
  • Support credit control, including debtor follow‑ups and overdue queries.
  • Assist with monthly debtor statements.
  • Reconcile finance systems with the company intranet.
  • Support the wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • A genuine interest in developing a career in finance or accountancy.
  • Interest in working towards a recognised accountancy qualification.
  • Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Basic Excel skills and confidence using IT systems.
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage tasks effectively.
