My client has an excellent opportunity for an IT Support Engineer to join their busy and expanding in-house IT department that looks after all aspects of infrastructure support at their head office in the greater Cookstown area. You will facilitate the effective operation and daily support of the company network, systems, and processes throughout a multi-site environment.

Job overview:

  • To provide technical support for all PC hardware, software, and associated peripherals.
  • To log support calls and document their outcome to facilitate the resolution of common queries.
  • To install, configure, and maintain operating systems to agreed standards.
  • To perform upgrades, new installations, and carry out routine procedures on site infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting system, server, and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware and software faults.

What we're looking for:

  • 3rd level education and a background within a similar IT Support environment.
  • Office 365 Desktop Apps (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • Experience of Office 365 administration including Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience of Windows Server including Active Directory, Group Policy, and VMWare.
  • Good communication skills with excellent written and verbal abilities.
  • Driver's license with (ideally) access to own vehicle due to site location and multi-site set-up.
