We are looking for an analyst who thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys driving change and working on multiple areas at the same time. Our team has a busy agenda over the next 12 months and we are looking for someone who can help drive this forward, implement our processes with a high level of detail and efficiency, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role will require management of daily financial processes, but previous experience in finance is not required. We are looking for a quick learner with good attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Be a part of the team responsible for the processes executed through any associated Purchase to Pay (P2P) and business expenses system under the direction of the Expenditure Team Lead or Head of Finance Operations. For P2P this may include: purchase requisitions and orders, receipting, invoice processing and accounts payable. For business expenses this may cover the management of the expense claim process in line with the firm's Travel and Business Expenses policy, the ownership of corporate credit card processes and the reimbursement of employees where due.
- Assist with support and direction to staff across the firm involved in expenditure processes to ensure accurate and timely data capture of transactions as configured by key stakeholders (including downstream Finance teams) to ensure compliance with internal and external financial reporting and tax requirements and any related payments are met within obligation.
- Help support a robust control framework utilising automated processes and technology-based solutions as much as possible.
- Provide a high-level of customer service to employees through the relevant processes including developing and encouraging any cross-functional activities that would lead to improved levels of service.
- Ensure stakeholders queries are attended to and resolved in a timely, responsible, and proactive manner.
- Help create best-in-class Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to promote operational efficiency and resiliency.
- Review backlog and cycle time reports and suggest ways to improve process flow times.
