We've recently won a host of interesting and involved projects repurposing and reusing buildings in London and the SE across commercial, education and residential uses.
We're after someone to join our small and growing team here in South London - They will need to be inquisitive and interested in buildings and structural engineering - willing to take on the challenge of proving how little we need to build by having confidence in what we've already got.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can manage a project with oversight from proposal phase to construction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates
- Perform construction related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections
- Collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on design and construction of projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working toward chartership with IStructE
- Good Pay + target 10% Bonus
- 25 Days holiday
